As a corporate citizen, UST is very concerned towards social and environmental activities. This concern is particularly addressed to:
› employees
By introducing equal rights and responsibilities for all employees, without discrimination of race, ethnic origin, religion, and groups. Employees are rewarded based on their individual competence and achievement results.
› community
By creating human and environmental activities, in the vicinity of UST’s office, as well as on other areas in need. Community activities have included donations of IT equipment that are intended for unfortunate children. For the environment UST participates in utilising recycled materials e.g. paper for office activities.
› health and safety
By identifying hazards and the risks in work places, routine care and maintenance of facilities and office surroundings in accordance with directions of the competent institutions.
